to spit; to send out (silk from a silkworm, bolls from cotton flowers etc); to say; to pour out (one's grievances); to vomit; to throw up

Tā yīnwèi bù xǐhuān zhège píngguǒ, jiù bǎ tā tǔ le chūlái.

他因为不喜欢这个苹果,就把它了出来。

He didn't like the apple, so he spit it out.

Cán kāishǐ tǔ sī xíngchéng jiǎn.

蚕开始丝形成茧。

The silkworms begin to send out silk to form cocoons.

Tā kāishǐ xiǎng yào tǔ tā de gǎnshòu.

她开始想要她的感受。

She started wanting to express her feelings.

Tā xūyào yīgè kěyǐ ānjìng qīngtīng de rén lái tǔ lù xīnshēng.
